Unitree G1-D
A wheeled, dual-arm platform from Unitree Robotics (Hangzhou) that swaps the G1's legs for a height-adjustable column and a differential-drive base. Announced in November 2025 as an end-to-end platform for collecting teleoperated demonstrations and training embodied-AI models, it carries two 7-DOF arms with a choice of two-finger grippers or dexterous hands. Sold as a Standard tier (fixed column) and an Ultimate tier (wheeled base).

Reference Price
Unitree's own G1-D page shows no price. Resellers list the wheeled Ultimate tier at about $51,900 with a two-finger gripper and $62,300–$66,300 with dexterous hands, and the fixed-column Standard tier at about $38,800–$53,800. One reseller lists it as contact-sales only. Treat all figures as reseller prices, not Unitree's. robotindex does not sell this product.
Insights
G1-D reuses the upper body of the G1 humanoid and is positioned as a data-collection platform rather than a general consumer robot: its pitch is generating teleoperation demonstrations at scale, with integrations for open frameworks such as GR00T and PI plus OTA updates. Press also lists laundry folding, factory assembly, and machine tending as target tasks. The Open Source badge does not apply: Unitree supports secondary development, but no source says the hardware or the full software stack is open, and the SDK license for this model could not be confirmed. See also Unitree R1-D, a smaller, much cheaper wheeled dual-arm line.
Verified against Unitree's G1-D page (unitree.com/G1-D), reseller listings (Robots International, RoboStore, Weston Robot), and press coverage (Gizmochina, Humanoids Daily), as of October 2026. Flagged as uncertain: the launch date of November 13, 2025 comes from press, not Unitree; availability conflicts (one reseller says in stock, another says sold out with a September 2026 ship estimate that has passed); weight is about 90 kg on Unitree's page and about 80 kg in press; the Orin NX is called optional on Unitree's page but described as built in by one reseller. Unitree's shop page and the unitree_sdk2 repository could not be fetched, so the SDK license is unconfirmed. Product image: Unitree Robotics. The corner brand logo was removed from the supplied image.
