Petoi Quaddle
Petoi's cheapest, simplest quadruped — a single servo per leg (versus Bittle X's roughly nine) with wheels built directly into the foot tips, confirmed by Petoi's own founder, trading true lifted-paw walking for a rolling/gliding gait. Currently an active Kickstarter campaign, not yet shipping or available at retail.

Insights
Quaddle's ESP32-S3 firmware is built on Petoi's OpenCat lineage — closer to the ESP32/BiBoard-based OpenCatEsp32 than to the original OpenCat repo — but at Kickstarter launch it hasn't been published. Petoi says it intends to open-source the code before the product ships, so no Open Source badge applies yet.
Firmware & Community
Not yet public
Petoi says Quaddle's ESP32-S3 firmware — an upgraded OpenCat branch — will be open-sourced before delivery. Not currently listed in Builds & Mods.
Specs compiled from Petoi's own Kickstarter and product pages, plus independent coverage from Hackster, Make:, and CNX Software, as of this build — Quaddle is still an active crowdfunding campaign, and final specs, pricing, and delivery timing may change before units ship.
